At Dost Food, we took part in Alimentaria 2026 with our production and supply strength reaching from Europe to the Middle East, and completed four highly productive days at the fair. Our stand, located at Pavilion 3 | Level 0 | Street E | Stand 303 at the Gran Via exhibition venue in Barcelona, attracted strong interest from international visitors throughout the event.
One of the World’s Key Food Industry Gatherings
More than just one of Spain’s leading international food and beverage fairs, Alimentaria is a global business platform that brings together the foodservice, horeca, and retail sectors. Marking the fair’s 50th anniversary, the 2026 edition welcomed around 109,600 industry professionals, international visitors from 120 countries, and more than 3,300 exhibiting companies over four days.
In addition, more than 14,500 business meetings took place between exhibitors and over 2,700 buyers and importers. These figures clearly show that Alimentaria is not simply an exhibition, but a strategic international platform where strong business connections are built.
Poland Was the Guest of Honour This Year

One of the factors that made Alimentaria 2026 especially meaningful for Dost Food was the fact that Poland was this year’s guest of honour / partner country. Poland was represented at the fair by more than 100 exhibitors and an exhibition area exceeding 1,200 m². Thanks to this special status, Poland became one of the most visible and talked-about countries at the event.
For Dost Food, a döner producer based in Poland and supplying customers in many countries, this was particularly significant. Taking part in a fair where Poland was one of the main focal points increased our brand visibility and helped us build stronger connections with international partners.
Strong Interest Throughout All Four Days
Over the course of the four-day event, the Dost Food stand welcomed restaurant professionals, döner shop operators, distributors, importers, retail representatives, and purchasing decision-makers from various markets.
In addition to presenting our döner supply solutions for restaurants and döner outlets operating in many countries, we also had the opportunity to showcase our frozen döner products for supermarkets, a category that has gained strong momentum in recent years.
We designed our stand to let visitors experience the taste of our products firsthand while also exploring the breadth of our product range. As a result, the stand became more than just a display area; it turned into a lively meeting point that reflected Dost Food’s commitment to quality, product variety, and flavour-driven approach. Visitors had the opportunity to sample different product groups on site and gain a closer understanding of the solutions our brand offers.
The meetings we held were valuable not only for introducing our products, but also for building new partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, and laying the groundwork for long-term cooperation with brands in different markets.
A Strong Message to Global Markets

The international scale of Alimentaria 2026 provided the right platform for Dost Food to present its global growth vision. The high number of visitors, strong international participation, and intense business activity at the fair helped us bring our solutions for global markets to a wider audience.
At Dost Food, we see this participation as important not only from a commercial perspective, but also as a meaningful contribution to promoting Poland’s production strength and döner, one of the most recognized specialties of Turkish cuisine, on an international scale.
A Strong Foundation for New Partnerships
Alimentaria 2026 delivered important results for Dost Food in terms of entering new markets, developing international partnerships, and strengthening global connections. We would like to thank all visitors, business partners, and industry professionals who showed interest in our stand.
At Dost Food, we will continue to add value to global markets and move forward with strong steps in our international growth journey.
